Why we made the switch to a one concept approach with our branding packages
It’s been a year since I’ve made the switch to a one concept approach and it’s been a game-changer. I used to offer branding packages with multiple concepts, but found that I was left feeling creatively drained, wasting time on concepts that don’t have much merit and losing sight of strategy. Below I’ve listed a few reasons as to why you should make the switch too:
You spend all your energy crafting the best solution for your client, not multiple mediocre solutions.
By making the switch to a One Concept Approach, I now have more time and energy to craft and build out the best solution for my client.
Say goodbye to the Frankenstein approach of combining concepts because the client is confused about which concept to choose.
You can say goodbye to your client asking you to butcher your design work by combining concepts and therefore, a cycle of endless revisions trying to make all these elements work together, all because they are indecisive in their decision-making.
It allows my clients the opportunity to provide feedback for refinement rather than making them the art director. After all, you are the branding expert.
With presenting just one concept to my clients that is the perfect solution to their design problem, I am giving them clarity around their brand identity. I remove any fear for them of making the wrong choice on a very important decision for their brand.
My clients aren’t the design experts, and why should they be? It’s not their job to know what the best design solution is. That’s my job!
